First. I am now and will forever have a eighteens fear of mosquitoes- thanks for that.
This book will take you on a ride. I highly suggest reading it quickly - it’s not one to put down and walk away from for a week and pick back up, but it’s definitely worth it. The backstabbing still has me reeling! Now i must know what that closing scene before the epilogue meant. You just have to read this if you’re into blood, guts, horror, backstabbing, survival.

I read this book a couple of months ago and it STILL lives rent free in my head. The way the author described things was so vivid it was like I was there and if you take the time to look into all of his hidden Easter eggs, the spiral down the ferret burrow only deepens. Everything has meaning or symbolism and you will binge this book every chance you get. Trust me you do not want to sleep on this! 5/5 best survival horror I have read in a very long time!
