Soul Forge -First Edition

This book took me on a wild ride of emotions, and I loved every minute of it. Although this is a Dark Fantasy romance, I didn’t find anything that was really too dark in my opinion but check the content warning because it did have a few moments and scenes that might be triggering for some people.

Elda is the perfect wielder, letting her heart guide every decision she makes, even when it puts her in danger to save the ones she loves.

Sypher is the perfect Soul Forge. Broody and unhappy, just wanting to get his job done and afraid of the power the wielder can have over him. He’s afraid to let himself believe that Elda is different, but she is.

The adventure they go on to save the people and their friends builds their relationship and only makes them stronger together. If I had to complain about anything it would be one instance where Sypher finds out about his past life and what the spirits hid from him. He learns some pretty life changing things and although he takes a minute to process, it feels like the moment was brushed over and nothing really changed between him and Elda.

There were times when the story itself felt slow, and I wish there would have been more relationship development between Elda and Sypher as it did feel a little rushed at times. But I still enjoyed every moment of this read.

The ending is a cliffhanger that will tear your heart in two, and now I want to read book two right away! Write faster Georgia May, your fans are eagerly waiting.

This book is an addiction that will leave your soul crushed with a book hangover for days. The character development is phenomenal and I am not even sure how someone could keep Vel and Sypher’s personalities straight, but they are perfection. I devoured this book, it was so full of excitement and quick wit banter. Absolutely chef’s kiss.

This book. Wow. I was laughing. I'm about to cry. Swooning. Everything. Literally all the feels. I'm addicted to the characters and Georgia's writing is immaculate.

Vel? Sypher? 🤷🏼‍♀️

This was just such a good debut and I'll be screaming when I get my hands on a physical copy.

Here's the thing about this book... Within the first few pages, you're invested. By the first few chapters, you're hooked. The amount of laughing and intermittent heartbreak is astronomical.

"Soul Forge" has some pretty decent writing and intriguing plot. It's a bit slow, but that's to be expected with me. If you want a book of adventure with fantasy then this is the book for you.
